PR 0?! What the?

Ok my blog was never a PR 4 but it was a PR 1 and I'm so proud of that because I worked hard for that but all of the sudden my PR became 0 when it was a PR 1 last night. I am now wondering what I did to deserve such a drop in PR.

This is really so depressing... I don't want to live anymore! Hahaha that's a bit too much. The hell with PR! I blog because I want to and not for some rating (char). But still... ouch!

But honestly I don't think that I've done anything wrong. I even removed my Adbrite Ads since I thought that it made my Adsense earnings drop but ok enough with that.

On with my life... even if I have a PR 0 blog... huhuhu...

The Blogger Addict

I went down to school today because I had some unfinished business and who do I have with me today? No other than my handy dandy laptop. I didn't want to miss out on the juicy blogging happenings hahaha!

Last night (or a few hours ago) I slept at 2:00 am since I decided to blog hop on all of my blogging friends' blog and boy it was very time-consuming but very fun too! I had seen new updates and learned new amazing stuff from their blogs. I would like to blog hop to their pages every day but I guess that my sanity won't handle it hehehe.

But yeah the Blogger Addict (that's me if you haven't noticed yet, Lol) needs to be comfortable too while blogging. Sure they say that laptops were meant to be used on laps but it's just so uncomfortable and I don't want to bend my back since my back is slouched already hahaha! I made a little blogger space for myself in my room. I set up a nice desk with a chair (that keeps my back straight) and good lighting to avoid blogger eye strain hehehe. ^_^

Oh well, if I'm an addict then I should be addicted in a good and productive way hehehe. To all my fellow blogging addicts, aja! Continue our pursuit for blogging happiness, Lol.

On Changing the Blog HTML and CSS

I have wanted to change the layout and HTML design of my blog for some while now but I realize that doing so would result in the removal of some of my widgets and links. I may want to make my blog more nice looking but the consequences outweighs the benefits so I would rather stick to my old plain blog design.

A blog friend, Ruthi, had changed her blog HTML design and is recently having some trouble with her PayPerPost tools. It seems that her code was erased when she changed her HTML and she's having some difficulty in re-installing her PPP code.

I really am sad for her because I know how frustrating it is to have very good opportunities from PPP pass by because of her present technical difficulty. I had some suggestions that might help her like adding the code before the /body tag and refreshing the code but I'm no expert at HTML codes so it so sad that I can't really help her.

So to bloggers out there who would want to change how their blogs look, better think twice and be sure that you have a good know-how with these confusing HTML and CSS codes. It would be best if you redesigned your blog when you first started the blog.

I'm Blog of the Day!!!

Woah! Who would have guessed that me, an amateur blogger who only knows a little about html and css, could actually be chosen as PayPerPost's Blog of the Day! Yup you heard me, I'm the April 14, 2008 Blog of the Day! Wow this really is a great achievement and would make a great mark in my whole blogging career hehehe. Who thought that blogging could be a career? But really guys, I love blogging and being recognized is a great feeling. Of all the millions of bloggers out there, why me? But who's complaining?

It's so ironic that I was chosen on the 14th day of April. And the 14th day in February is Valentine's Day therefore it just proves that I really ♥ PayPerPost!!! Blogging Boom

It has recently occurred to me that the number of bloggers has actually grown and that blog sites are popping like mushrooms everywhere. For those who don’t know what a blog is, it is like an online diary or a site where you post your reviews, thoughts, pictures, videos, and whatever media you my have.

As a friend of mine commented, people are going Adsense addicts. Adsense by the way is a great new product by Google that allows you to earn money by allowing ads to flash on your webpage. The more page impressions or clicks and referrals to those ads, the more money you own. Unfortunately on my part, I only get around 10 people who visit my blog every day and this would earn me only a few cents. But hey I did already earned around $6 since last year. This is a great feat for an amateur personal blogger as my self.

But I am quite impressed by the blogs of my friends. Their blogs have such substance that makes my blog seem so shallow and all, but hey it’s a personal blog after all right? I can post anything I want no matter how boring it is. But seeing those blogs of my friends poses a great challenge to me. I will improve my blog, not just to earn more money but for personal satisfaction too. Maybe once in a while I’ll place my reviews on gadgets, movies, or whatsoever because my friend said that reviews tend to get more viewers.

Blogging Again

It has been months since my last blog. It isn’t surprising though since I don’t need to vent all my anger perhaps even my misery on the net since I’m now able to handle some of my everyday frustrations.

So why am I blogging right now you ask? Well let’s just say I’m in the mood to talk some nonsense and Jake Long the American Dragon has inspired me to write.

So many days have gone and passed and so many things have happened. So many that I find it tiring to talk about all of them… but I’ll make a lazy summary of all that has transpired in my life in a silly list:

1. I was able to deliver and assist in a real delivery of a baby plus even did cord care to 4 babies consecutively!
2. Finals are over and Davao here I come for my psychiatric affiliation.
3. I quit being vice-president for the 3^rd Year Level student council.
4. My friend JM finally went to live in the states.
5. KC is sick…
6. I still hate people
7. I love my puppy Missy
8. I’m actually playing an online game
9. I love anime… currently waiting for more Naruto episodes

Hmm… actually I’m finally at the point where I am once again faced with the big question of what am I doing and why am I doing what I do now… Where am I heading and if life is worth the suffering huhuhu.

I hate my blogs they are so pathetic hahaha. Oh well, on with my life…

Audio Blog

Yes! Finally, after long hours of slaving in front of a hot monitor (hehehe) I'm finally able to load my first audio blog. Now I can indulge myself more in being lazy! Joke. Yeah, technology is so cool.

I can now post stuff anywhere and anytime, especially those enlightenment periods that really last short and I often forget to post.

Why am I blogging again?

Why am I blogging again?
Here I go again jotting down my thoughts and posting it on my blog. Well let’s just say that I have been inspired by a colleague again and also realized why I blog. I blog, or write down an online journal, to have someone, or in this case an inanimate object, hear my sentiments and even problems. I suddenly remember Sarah Jessica Parker and Sex and the City. She’s a writer right and she always write down her thoughts on her laptop. Well let’s just say that I myself am an aspiring writer and I do express my self better in writing than speaking. Besides, in this case my blog won’t reject me because of the things I say and I am assured that my blogger would listen and won’t get bored.
I also want other people to know me… Well just for the fun of it hehehe. Joke. It’s not as if the whole world really have access to my blog. But I do have some visitors of my blog and they are from other countries and they too have blogs.
Hey don’t get me wrong! I may be an introvert but I also do have my own circle of friends to share my problems, joys, and etc. That’s why I haven’t updated my blog for a very long time now. Well it has been very long since my last post. I have a lot of updating to do. Where to start? My life is becoming interesting and exciting.
Hey! I suddenly thought of another reason why I should blog! If ever I die at least my parents and loved ones can have something to log on to, to remember me and my pessimistic self hehehe… yes life is short and we should make the best out of it.

I for one am very moved by his words. Blogging

I am so happy because I can now update my blog, or online journal, regularly. Usually, I only blog when I have something that really bothers me or when I have a chance to write but now I have to write every day for my English journal which is a good thing. My address for my blog is http://vincentbautista.blogspot.com and it is powered by Blogger. Blogger was introduced to me during my third year in high school in my Christian Humanism class. My teacher created a blog for my class and we really enjoyed it. Now, some of my classmates and I, have our very own blogs. My high school classmates from third year to fourth year, the NerdZ, even have our very own blog, http://tataknerd.blogspot.com, aside from our Yahoo Group. Blogging has already been a very popular way of expressing ourselves. Friendster even has offered a blogging service signifying the growth of online journals or blogs. This is a very good news since it will help teens and people young at heart to develop their writing skills. Blogger even offers to store pictures in your blog so that you can share your special moments with people. There are a lot of things that you can add to your blog aside from your own posts. You can add a chat box, links to other blocks, and you can even customize your blog that is if you know how to encode an html document. I wanted to do all of these things just like what my friends did but I completely forgot my computer language and programming lessons and to think I only had them in fourth year, shame on me. If I have time I guess I can take a look at my computer book and encode my own blog. I have to be careful though because one wrong command or code could mean a ruined blog.
